Critical Care at Raigmore is looking for a senior staff nurse to join the team.
The department has nine level 3 general and eight level 2 surgical funded beds to complement our surgical services. It is expected that the successful applicant, as part of the wider Critical Care team, will work across the Critical Care floor, covering both SHDU and ICU.
We have a supportive medical team, experienced educators and ACCP’s that all work alongside our nursing team, allied health professionals and ancillary staff, providing safe and effective care.
We are also offering the opportunity for career development with a full time secondment post.
We welcome applications from staff nurses with a minimum of three years, evidenced Critical Care experience that are looking to further their career and are enthusiastic about contributing to our progressive service.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
