We are looking to recruit  a dynamic, highly motivated Advance Nurse Practitioner ( Band 7)  with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team at  Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, Oban. 

Candidate must be a fully qualified and practicing as an Advance Nurse practitioner in hospital. However consideration will be made for individual who not yet fully qualified and currently in the process for completing their training. These candidates will commence at a Band 6  until fully qualified

It is a rotational  post  at 37.5 hours 

Lorn & Islands rural General Hospital is a modern, well equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland.  Ferry links can transport you easily to Mull or the more distant islands.  This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with countless leisure activities, good schools and a strong sense of community.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
