Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026
2 x 22.5 hours per week (Hours of service are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, with days worked to be agreed with successful candidates)
Are you interested in joining our Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service based in Inverness?
We have two vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our service. You will be based in Inverness but have opportunities to work across the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service providing and promoting care within a variety of settings.
This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. You should possess good interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with the Drug and Alcohol Service as well as experience in Mental Health is desirable as is previous experience supporting clients in a community setting. Excellent organisational skills and time management skills are essential. A full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is essential for this post.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
