PATIENTS TRAVEL PAYMENTS OFFICER - BAND 3, 22.3 hours per week  (consideration given 18.5hours per week) 
Base Lochgilphead with option of Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a demanding but enjoyable finance role with Argyll & Bute HSCP.  This post is based in Lochgilphead with the option of hybrid working and is part-time, working 22.3 hours (consideration given to 18.5 hours per week).
A key member of the Argyll and Bute HSCP finance team, you will provide an efficient and effective payments service to our patients.  Main responsibilities include validating claims for payment, processing payments, dealing with patient enquiries and travel suppliers, and liaising with colleagues across the organisation.
Ideally, you will hold an HNC in Accounting or equivalent qualification, or alternatively have gained relevant experience working in a large organisation . You will have good analytical and organisational skills, be proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Excel and be able to communicate effectively.  A courteous and polite manner when dealing with patients is essential.
