DEPARTMENT OF DERMATOLOGY

AUDIO TYPIST / CLERICAL OFFICER, BAND 2


Applications are invited for the above post, based within the Specialist Surgery Division.


We are looking for an adaptable individual to provide an efficient, administrative service within the Dermatology Department, Ninewells Hospital.


Applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a high level of literacy and numeracy skills. Good typing and audio typing skills are essential and a previous knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.  Previous experience in an office environment is also essential.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. Hours of work are:  20 hours per week across 4 or 5 days.
