Appointments Officer – Cardiac Physiology

Band 3


22.3 hours per week


Fixed Term/Secondment – 9 months (Maternity Cover)



An opportunity has arisen for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Booking Team in the Cardiac Physiology Department, Medicine Directorate, Ninewells Hospital.

Applicants should have a polite telephone manner, good oral/written communication skills and advanced keyboard skills. Daily telephone contact with patients requires a very professional manner, tact and diplomacy.  Knowledge of NHS Tayside Access Policy and Waiting Times Guidance and experience of TrakCare booking/waiting lists would be advantageous.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.


Hours of work are: 22.3 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
