The candidate will have proven management experience and will be familiar with the challenges and rewards involved in community development.
You will be an experienced fundraiser with a good knowledge of community development.
You will be able to oversee several projects and manage competing priorities as well as providing leadership to the team and building effective relationships within the local community; public agencies; funders, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Oversight and timely delivery of all our projects, while ensuring that the overall running of the Trust is effective and efficient.
Developing and sourcing funding for new and continuing projects to work towards financial sustainability for the Trust.
Effective staff management, ensuring good all-round communication and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement for all - leading by example.
Identifying fund raising opportunities - applying for and/or overseeing funding applications and liaising with funding bodies.
Supporting the Trustees to develop a strategic plan for sustainability
Building strong relationships in the community and with other key stakeholders such as public agencies and funders.
Partnership working is key to the long-term success of the Trust and the ability to create and manage partnerships will be crucial.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees; organising and administering all trustee meetings.
