ScottishPower are recruiting Team Member (Clerical) to contribute as an effective project support team member within the Street Lighting Team.

What you’ll be doing

As Team Member (Clerical) you will provide support in all activities relating to Energy Networks, Licence Programmes managing correspondence and contacts accordingly deciding and initiating the action or communication required within the business.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Support delivery of customer and regulatory commitments and work with various IT systems including using innovative IT solutions and best practice to improve efficiency,
  • Ensuring all customer contacts are received and actioned promptly in accordance with relevant processes,
  • Monitor and register Guaranteed Standard applying future payment process as required,
  • Provide admin and management support within all areas of the business including supporting team members to achieve objectives,
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation and actively promote customer awareness standards within your area of responsibility,
  • Ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety and Environment requirements on issues as they arise,
  • Work towards a zero-accident culture and lead by example and ensure quality standards are maintained for all activities performed,
  • Provide financial awareness on activities, management reporting for key activities, and administer the impact of change of regulatory issues on the business,
  • Participate in the development and improvement of processes and procedures within Licence programmes

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an individual to higher education or equivalent (4 GCSE grades) particularly in Maths and English and computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills required to be successful in post are:

  • Working knowledge of network and business data management and management reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of Regulatory Reporting Requirements, Guaranteed Standard, Voluntary Standard, Licence and Ofgem requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-functional team
  • Excellent telephony skills
  • Developed customer service skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environment legislation
  • Awareness of regulatory issues impacting our sector and group relationships
