We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working with older people within Royal Victoria Hospital. They will join our flexible team that works across the site to support staffing levels and the continued delivery of high quality patient care.

You should demonstrate excellent nursing skills and an ability to deliver evidence based practice and promote the delivery of high standards of care.  You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess good organisational skills and be willing to develop skills appropriate to the area.

 

You will be required to participate in continual service and personal development this is an opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary team in providing a high standard of therapeutic care for patients. You will help in the delivery of individualised care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This will be a rotational post within the wards in Medicine for the Elderly in Royal Victoria Hospital.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are:  Full Time day/night rotation
