2x 0.521 FTE Lecturer – Access and Supported Education
Hours: 18.24 hours per week.
Salary Range: £40,170 – £48,357 per annum pro rata, (Actual Salary £20,934 - £25,193 per annum)?(dependent on experience).
Campus: Gardyne and Arbroath
We are currently seeking committed two enthusiastic individuals to join our lecturing team in the area of Access and Supported Education. The post holders will teach a variety of subjects within this demanding area. Support and guidance of individual learners will also be a large part of these roles.
We would be particularly interested to hear from those who have teaching experience in the area of community learning and development or youth work and can demonstrate flexibility, creativity and innovation within a demanding curriculum area.
The successful applicants will be an integral part of the team, responsible for developing learning and teaching materials and have an understanding of the curriculum areas of wider achievement, essential skills, employability and citizenship skills.
If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday 9 December 2024.
Interviews will be held at Gardyne Campus and are scheduled for January 2025, with the exact date to be confirmed.
