Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.

Role Purpose

The Employability service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their Supported Employment team.

The post holder will be expected to support and help individuals with additional barriers to find and sustain paid employment throughout the Borders using a variety of supported interventions including:, employability training, CV writing, mock interviews, job applications, employer engagement, work placements, job tasters etc

Essential

Educated to relevant SVQ 2 Level or significant relevant experience

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
