CHEF DE PARTIE

The Holly Tree Hotel & Swimming Pool has twenty Hotel bedrooms and fifteen self-catering properties and is situated right beside the sea in the village of Kentallen, near Glencoe. We are 20 minutes from Fort William and 40 minutes from Oban.

We have a strong emphasis on seafood, shellfish and steaks whilst at the same time also offering tasty bar food too.

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to come and join our team. If you're either an experienced Chef de Partie or a Commis Chef looking to take the next step, we would love to hear from you. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting our Head and Sous chef to deliver top notch food in a fantastic lochside location
  • Preparing vegetables, meats, fish, shellfish and desserts
  • Helping with deliveries and restocking
  • Assisting with stock rotation and cleaning stations
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in our newly refurbished kitchen
  • Able to work as part of a team or use your own initiative
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take your own initiative when required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.
