Job Purpose: The Highland Council Pension Fund is part of the national Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The LGPS was set up by the UK Government to provide retirement and death benefits for local government employees across the whole of the UK and currently has more than 6.8 million members.
The Highland Council Pension fund is responsible for 32,978 members and has investment assets of over £2.6 billion. Our members include people who work for the Highland Council, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) and a wide range of other employers such as local colleges and scheduled and admitted bodies across the Highlands and Islands.

Requirements
Experience in Pension Administration preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
