An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience nurse to join the urology team to provide specialist care for patients with urological conditions. The successful candidate will be working as part of the urology specialist nurse team to develop high quality, cost effective, patient centred care across NHS Tayside. This post holder will be expected to work collaboratively across health care boundaries and be responsible for organising and managing a caseload, whilst able to contribute to a team approach. Applicants will demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development within the field of urology. This post requires vision, innovation and the ability to work across professional boundaries and a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.  This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team and as an autonomous practitioner.


You should be a First Level Registered Nurse with evidence of ongoing professional development educated to at least degree level and working in a relevant speciality. You will be involved in collaborative working, therefore, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Ability to travel is essential as the post holder will require to work across 2 sites.


You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work: 30 hours per week
