Job Description

We are recruiting for School Crossing Patrollers across Glasgow and currently have vacancies within the following postcode areas: G32, G33, G34, G40 and G69.

You will have an opportunity to make a difference in your local community, build rapport with school staff, parents and children whilst keeping active. School Crossing Patrollers provide an important and invaluable road safety service. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Duties include assisting children across specified roads on their way to and from school, adhering to road safety regulations.

Applicants must be able to communicate effectively and have good judgement on road safety matters. They should be reliable, conscientious and able to work unsupervised.

This position is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme which we will arrange on your behalf.
