Job Description
The primary purpose of the role is to manage a legal case load and to give advice and guidance to officers, for example, Housing Officers and Elected Members of Clackmannanshire Council in your role as Paralegal with the support of a Solicitor.
We are looking for a Paralegal with specialism in Housing, Summary Cause and/or Ordinary Cause. Your primary client will be the Housing Service as such you should have experience in this area of the law.
The workload will be varied, challenging and interesting, dealing with largely the arrears cases for the Housing Service, general debt recovery and other aspects of court work. You will be supported in a collegiate environment and encouraged to develop a full range of legal and other skills.
