  • Establish & maintain reporting & controls for ongoing monitoring of performance, including sales quality & compliance, of all new business partnerships and opportunities in your territory. Provide continued support and recommendations to be made on how to further performance manage, develop & improve these further with other Business to Business Development Managers, Territory Development Managers and Sales Development Representatives.

  • Through pro-active analysis of all operational areas, ensure compliance with legal and  regulatory commitments, and effectively manage customer contracts in line with ScottishPower guidelines. Ensure that all areas of Sales are compliant with all regulatory legislation (Legal, Ofgem).

  • Through your local knowledge and customer insights ensure all sales and competitor activities are accurately reported to enable senior management to make policy decisions based on up-to-date market information.

  • Lead all staff through the issues created within a continuously changing environment, encouraging others to change through leading by example.

  • Lead and motivate the “Pop Up sales Team”, influence employee turnover and retention, and maintain at acceptable levels. Conduct succession planning and development review boards to identify talent and potential. Manage the recruitment and hiring of staff in line with departmental budgets.

  • Required to manage staff that sell and negotiate individual contracts within a complex and dynamic environment to a high level of professional ability.

  • To manage all controllable costs, at a local level within agreed budget constraints. Work towards eliminating any unnecessary expenditure, as well as extracting full value for all monies spent.
