Salary:
£39,912 - £48,635 p.a

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: In accordance with national, Highland Council and NHS Highland policies and guidelines the post holder takes a lead role in assessment and associated support to pre-school and school age children with speech/ language/ communication impairment within neurodevelopmental differences and disorders in Highland area in schools and pre-school facilities, client’s own homes and out-patient clinics.

Participates in audit / research / service development.

To provide training to other professionals.

To supervise the work of support workers and students

Requirements

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification

Licence to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist as issued by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.

The post holder is required to have post graduate qualifications / training on a range of relevant specialist
courses
