About the role 

As Mechanical Engineering Assistant Manager with Robertson Facilities Management, you will work daily as part of a small site-based FM team and alongside client representatives, with responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service across our client's properties in the relevant area. 

 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in the management of the engineering workforce.
  • Analyse and resolve technical problems, provide feedback and reports.
  • Ensure that all Health Safety and Environmental legislation and company policies are adhered to.
  • Implement the PPM programme and advise line managers of any significant change issues.
  • Carry out safety and environmental risk assessments in accordance with legislation and company policy and procedure.
  • Manage and supervise sub-contractors and assist in the tendering process.

About you 

You will be a qualified, time-served Mechanical Engineer with experience in people management or in a supervisory role.

 

Your experience will include the maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, HV/LV electrical systems, generators, BMS controls, lighting and power distribution systems, IT infrastructure, MTHW/steam boilers, UPS systems, addressable fire alarm systems, security systems and equipment, DHCW systems management, water treatment, lighting protection, lifts, sterilizers, pneumatics tube systems, nurse call systems.

 

The successful candidate will require a Standard DBS Check before starting in the job.
