PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 25HR CONTRACT - PART-TIME 

Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver to work out of our site in Linwod. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers. This vacancy would suit a semi-retired HGV Class 1 driver.   

The Details:

  • Salary: £15.67 p/h 
  • 25hrs per week + OT as required
  • Monday - Friday / Start time - 12.00 -17.00 (subject to change as per business requirements)   
  • Monthly Pay

Driver Duties:

  • General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading
  • Occasionally self-load and pump truck work
  • Straps and curtain siders
  • Customer loads and contents of pallets may vary

Requirements:

  • A full UK C+E licence
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • No previous disqualifications
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
  • At least 2 years' relevant driving experience
