We are recruiting a Machine Operator to join our foundry. Working alongside an experienced team and reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for completing a daily work schedule, using ever-evolving technology to deliver high end acrylic projects.

As a Machine Operator at our acrylic foundry, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment to produce precision acrylic products. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where safety, quality, and attention to detail are of utmost importance. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Production: Working with various machinery (including CNC, milling machine, lathe, saw, polishing mop etc.) and equipment across the production line to create innovative products.
  • Quality control: Conduct QC checks throughout machining processes to ensure products meet our standards for precision, clarity, and finish. Identify and report any defects or irregularities in the production process. 
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of PPE, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Productivity: Strive to meet or exceed production targets and quotas, ensuring deadlines are met. 
  • Team collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including supervisors, sales and design team and quality control technicians to ensure smooth production operations. 

 

Working Conditions

  • The work environment will involve exposure to noise, dust, and various chemicals used throughout the acrylic fabrication process. Personal protective equipment will be required, and provided.

Requirements

For this role, no previous experience is required, training will be provided on the job.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy weights
  • Flexibility to work in a physically demanding enviroment, including bending, reaching, and using hand tools.
