In this field-based role, you will be the face of Highland Broadband to the business community and responsible for driving new client relationships, boosting revenues and championing our products and services.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly new business targets by acquiring new business accounts and nurturing existing ones.
  • Identify and build relationships with prospective clients through calls, networking and referrals.
  • Develop and effectively manage a qualified database of business account leads with planned contact activity to maximise conversions.
  • Efficiently capture and record prospect activity in the CRM Database for forecasting and reporting purposes.
  • Efficiently manage contract negotiations and close deals.
  • Stay informed internally on developments with pipelined business accounts for accurate sales forecasting and to maximise the business customer experience.
  • Evaluate market information, competitor activity, and client responses for strategic sales approaches. 
  • Highlight and share any information on barriers to market with Business Development Director.
  • Identify suitable partners to work with collaboratively on obtaining new leads.
Requirements

This is a new role with a lot of opportunity and the scope to help shape the success of the B2B team as we grow. A highly visible role within the commercial team, to succeed you will need:

  • A proven track record in a B2B sales role in a large geographical territory. Telecoms or Technical Sales is highly desirable.
  • A full UK Drivers Licence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and relate to business contacts from micro businesses to large organisation corporate decision makers.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills to deliver effective sales activity mindful of opportunity and geographic location.
  • Highly self-motivated and target driven to overcome objections and exceed sales targets.
  • Be customer centric and support the customer through their onboarding journey, as required, to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry knowledge and commercial awareness.

As well as an exciting and challenging job role, we will provide the successful candidate with a strong base salary, uncapped commission and a car allowance.
