  • General day to day tasks on keeping the reception running.
  • Occasionally working events
  • Be flexible in your job role, willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager
  • Check in late arrival guests 
  • Present at the reception desk all night 
  • Check in campsite arrivals 
  • Hourly check of the grounds 
  • Responsible for the safety of others
  • Dealing with guests

  • Dealing with enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Maintaining high cleaning standard of the reception area
  • Operating payments and refunds
Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Enthusiasm for your role with the ability to stay positive in busy periods.
  • You will show both care for guests/riders and your team members.
  • Good communication with guests/riders and your team.
  • Ability to provide natural, friendly and efficient service to all of our customers.
  • The ability to embrace change. Every day can bring different customers and often events to Nevis Range which will require team members to adapt appropriately.
  • Show initiative. You will be expected to work, at times, without direction and should have the ability to continuously pick up appropriate tasks without being prompted by management.
  • Previous experience is desired however full, in depth, training will be given to all new team members
  • As this position involves working night the candidate must be 18 or over. This position will involve lone working. All training and uniform will be provided by Nevis Range. 
  • Contract will be variable hours, 4 evenings per week including weekends.
