The role will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing mail, booking and cancelling appointments, “signposting” patients to the appropriate service, and other administrative duties.  Hours of work required are Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-6pm. You may be occasionally required to cover absences/holidays.

Requirements

Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work under pressure, adapt in a busy and unpredictable environment whilst upholding patient confidentiality at all times. Previous experience in a public facing role is essential as well as some knowledge of computer operating systems, however on the job training is provided.
