An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our North Lanarkshire Libraries Support Services team delivering library materials libraries across North Lanarkshire.

As a key member of our Support Services team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of driving and courier services across North Lanarkshire Council area. This is a key and valued service within our Library Service and requires enthusiastic individuals with good customer service and people skills. 

The post includes driving, operating and maintaining the Courier Service vehicle, carrying out all safety checks and reporting as required and lifting, transporting and delivering library materials.

All candidates should possess a current driving licence.

Work Pattern – Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 2pm, 15 hours per week

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
