Job Description

Glasgow City Council are currently looking for a Project Officer Graduate to join the Neighbourhood, Regeneration and Sustainability Department within Planning and Building Standards - Heritage, Design & Landscape team.  The role will involve supporting the ongoing Landscape/Tree review of the City’s 25 existing Conservation Areas, site analysis and mapping of identified Historic Landscape Remnants and supporting the implementation of the Council’s Forest & Woodland Strategy.  For more information on this role please see attached Person Specification, Role Profile and Graduate Programme outline.  
 
Please note to be eligible to apply you must:
 
• Have a degree qualification which has been awarded, not pending.
• Live in the Glasgow City Council Boundary, this means that the Council Tax for your home address would be paid to Glasgow City Council. 
• Be unemployed, under-employed – meaning that you’re working in a role which isn’t at the level of your formal qualifications or facing a redundancy situation.
 
During the recruitment process you’ll be asked to provide evidence that you meet the criteria above.
