Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a full time Store Person within our busy workshop in Corpach, Fort William.
Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a full time Stores Person within our busy workshop in Corpach, Fort William.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining stock levels
- Ordering and sourcing parts
- Carrying out stock checks
- Conducting price checks
- Maintaining register of deliveries
- Travelling off site to collect and deliver parts as required
- Operation of forklift, once certified
Previous stores experience and a knowledge of commercial components would be preferred, although this is not essential.
Requirements
Applicants must be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
A driving licence is required for this role. Forklift certification would be an advantage, however training can be provided.
