You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 or above (e.g. Scottish Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Professional Development Award Level 9, SVQ Level 9) or equivalent relevant experience.Responsibilities
You will make a significant contribution to delivery of the overall Economic Development service area, leading on or providing support, in relation to key areas of the Economic Growth team’s work. This specific post will have a particular focus on supporting employability programme management including performance monitoring; undertaking eligibility and compliance checks; preparing performance reports; and the collation, verification and submission of eligible financial claims to funders.The Individual
You will have a knowledge/understanding in research and analysis with an ability to interpret and present data accordingly, knowledge of key official national and local data sets and knowledge and understanding of economic development. You will have excellent ICT skills including management information, database and spreadsheets along with the ability to monitor programme / project performance using statistical data / key performance indicator. You will have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as necessary. You will have excellent time management, oral/written communication, research and analytical and numeracy skills and be a team player who is also able to work using their own initiative.
