<p>South Lanarkshire Council, Estates Team are part of Property Services (Asset and Estates) Housing and Technical Resources.</p>
<p>We provide a comprehensive surveying and valuation service to the Council providing professional advice on all property matters and undertaking property transactions such as acquisitions, disposals and leases.</p>
<p>Our aim is to provide high quality, efficient and responsive services.</p>
<p>You will assist professional and technical staff in all aspects of commercial property management including the survey, valuation, purchase, sale and lease of all types of property within the geographical area of South Lanarkshire.</p>
<p>You will work within the Lease Management Section which has responsibility for the management of the Council’s lease portfolio of around 800 properties, working under supervision you will assist in maintaining all property records and IT systems to an appropriate standard, undertake property inspections, liaise with tenants and contribute to the overall delivery of effective property and financial management.</p>
<p>You will have effective communication and IT skills. You will have a positive, professional and responsible attitude and the ability to multi-task, while ensuring strict deadlines are achieved. You will have the ability to work as part of a team or individually.</p>
