A Care and Support Supervisor is required for the Short-Term Assessment & Reablememt Team (START). You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of front-line reablement staff within an operating area within Lewis. You will be required to lead and model best practice interventions in the delivery of Care and Support and to ensure that Care Planning, Assessing and Reviewing is maintained to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
You will be required to undertake a role of on-call supervisor across a 365 days pattern of work, including evening and weekend working, to ensure that supervision of Home Care and Reablement delivery is in operation at all times when the service is being provided.
You will be required to be registered with SSSC within 6 months of taking up post. You must have the ability to undertake and achieve all necessary qualifications; a minimum of SVQ III in Care (or equivalent) is required either upon application or within 36 months after registration with the SSSC. A driving licence is essential for this post.
This position is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
