With our previous Chef moving on to new opportunities we are looking for a fresh face to bring creativity and leadership to our kitchen team. Blas Na Mara is a much loved seafood takeaway and this is a great chance to shape our shack as we head into a busy summer season.

What you will do:

  • Lead the day to day running of a fast paced seafood takeaway kitchen
  • Prepare and cook fresh seafood
  • Manage daily kitchen operations including ordering and managing stock
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
  • Develop seasonal menus and weekly specials
  • Train and guide junior staff when required
Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience 
  • Confidence working with fresh seafood
  • A calm, friendly, organised approach with strong communication skills
  • Relevent food safety qualifications
  • Flexibility to cover shifts, weekends and holiday periods

Working Pattern

5 days a week typically 0900-1700 including weekends and bank holidays currently closed Sunday & Monday, until we complete our full team when we will be opening 7 days a week 0900-1900 over the summer season.
