The Community Marketing Specialist will be integral in building relationships, influencing key stakeholders and generating brand visibility in Highland Broadband settlements. This area will cover communities north of Inverness including Black Isle, Dornoch and Tain.
This ‘on the ground’ role will provide key support and presence in our communities helping drive penetration and providing key community insights to the wider business. Working as part of a team you will work within a defined area engaging communities in existing network locations and pre-build areas.
Responsibilities.
- Manage local community engagements including sponsorship opportunities, 3rd party events, community hubs, schools, sports clubs and community groups
- Increase Highland Broadband awareness and positive sentiment within target communities, identifying projects where our support adds real local value
- Engage with communities proactively, in person and through online community groups
- Manage affiliate programs, ensuring local activity supports further uptake of Highland broadband services
- Review and report on activity, building a knowledge bank of programs which see greatest success
- Create PR value through local partnerships and positive news stories
- On the ground case work support with customers and key stakeholders
Requirements
To succeed in this role ideally you will have proven experience in community events or field marketing or have worked in a community-focussed role.
- Community-driven with a desire to build strong partnerships
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
- Great relationship builder with the ability to foster close working relationships and communicate with a variety of community stakeholders from MPs to group admins
- This role requires you to be out in the community and a Full drivers licence is essential
