Part Time Variable Lecturer – Social Science
Rate of Pay:?£22.07 - £26.57 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay.
Campus: Arbroath and Gardyne

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to support our highly qualified, professional team in Social Sciences.

The role involves delivering high quality teaching and learning opportunities when class cover is required. In the event of any longer-term class cover then learning resource development, assessment of student work, providing feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, student achievement and all associated administration will also be required. The role may also involve being a Group Tutor and providing pastoral support, guidance and advice to learners.

This role requires a high level of professional knowledge, adaptability, availability and experience and an understanding of the Social Sciences, along with a relevant degree or relevant professional experience. Prior teaching experience is preferable.

If successful, Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday 2nd June 2025.

Interviews will be held at Gardyne Campus and are scheduled for Monday 23rd June 2025.
