<p>Early Years and Childcare Manager<br />Waverley Court<br /><br />Salary: £62,685 - £74,858<br />Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks<br /><br />In consultation with the Schools &amp; Lifelong Learning Service Manager Early Years and Locality Manager provide professional and management advice to Early Years Centres, Nursery Schools and classes, Partner Providers, and Childcare Services and be accountable for the management, co-ordination and development of the Early Years service in the locality. Ensure that the services meet statutory obligations and required service standards to maximise the potential of children and their families. Contribute to the achievement of the overall aims and objectives of the department and implementation of national policy priorities through effective leadership, consultation and communication.</p><p>This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
