Old School Vet Practice is currently seeking a full time veterinary receptionist to join our dedicated friendly team.
Requirements
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Consultation and surgical diary management
• Appointment making
• Being the first point of contact for clients
• Taking payments and client account administration
• Cashing up and banking
• Dealing with medication and prescriptions
• Email response
• Ensure that the waiting room and consulting rooms and pet shop are clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure that merchandise is well presented and stock rotated and maintained at all times.
• Perform over the counter selling
• All clinical histories received should be saved on the clients record, checked.
• Minimal animal handling duties and ward duties
The role is highly varied and no day is the same.
