Service Manager – Community Strategy & Engagement
Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for strengthening communities and driving meaningful engagement? Moray Council is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Service Manager for Community Strategy & Engagement.
In this role you will:
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for Moray’s communities
- Drive innovation in service delivery, community engagement, and strategic planning
- Ensure robust performance management and contribute to the Council’s vision for community empowerment
- Represent Moray Council in multi-agency partnerships and public forums
As Service Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Service, providing leadership, strategic direction, and professional advice across your service areas. You will ensure the Council’s statutory duties are met, championing excellence in both strategic and operational practice. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing diverse teams, shaping policy, and fostering productive partnerships with stakeholders, residents, and colleagues alike.
We are looking for an experienced professional who holds both a relevant degree (or equivalent experience) and professional qualifications which demonstrate their underpinning knowledge and competence. Ideally you will have worked in a local government or public sector environment and have experience of achieving measurable results through your innovative and creative approach.
