Location: Capability Scotland, Penilee Community Centre, 10 Gleddoch Road, Glasgow, G52 4BD

Hours: 20 hours per week ( 3 days per week negotiable - between service hours of Mon–Fri, 8:45am–2:30pm)

Salary: £13,139.28 per annum (£12.60 per hour)

About the Role

We’re currently seeking Support Workers to join our dedicated team on both permanent and relief bases.

You’ll play a key part in creating a safe, caring, and empowering environment where every customer’s health, emotional, and social needs are met. Working alongside our Team Leaders, you’ll:

  • Provide personal and emotional support with compassion and respect
  • Promote independence and wellbeing through daily activities and personal care
  • Take on key working responsibilities, care planning, and medication support
  • Participate in exciting events like karaoke Fridays, sports days, and bingo chippy’s — yes, we sing, dance, and celebrate together!
  • Contribute to creative, customer-led initiatives that make every day unique

This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, confident, and energetic, with the ability to bring joy and enthusiasm to everything they do.

Experience in a day centre or social care setting is highly desirable, but what matters most is your attitude — we can teach the skills, but not the passion.

Additional Info

  • Driving licence preferred but not essential (to help escort customers in our adapted vehicles)
  • Relief/bank positions also available for added flexibility
