Renfrewshire Council are recruiting for the position of Car Park Attendant, the successful candidate will assist with the operation and security of Renfrewshire House staff Car Park.
As the Car Park attendant you will primarily be responsible for checking that all vehicles have a valid parking permit and are authorised to use the staff car park.
The main duties of the post will be to undertake regular patrols to monitor the use of the car park by checking all vehicles have a valid parking permit or have prior approval to use the staff car park; Check all vehicles are parked appropriately and within the clearly marked parking bays; monitor the short stay/drop off pick up bays and maintain the appearance of the pool car fleet located at Renfrewshire House, as well as overseeing the security and maintenance of the car park including dealing with spillages, broken glass etc.
It is essential that you have previous experience working in a similar environment and have experience of dealing with members of the public. It is also essential that you have written and oral communications skills.
You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
