NLC4 £27, 571 - £28, 879 (Pro Rata) (Plus additional payments for non-core hours)

Based in Sir Matt Busby, Bellshill, your main task will be to assist our customers within this busy sports venue and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers’ safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility. 

All candidates should either possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, be working towards the completion of it or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain the appropriate qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment and preparation for events.

You will work as part of a team and must be a strong swimmer. You will be neat and tidy in appearance, have a pleasant manner, good communication skills and a helpful approach when dealing with our customers.

As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.

Work Patterns available –

Post 1 (22.25 hours)

Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 3pm

Week 2 - Monday, Thursday, Friday 3pm to 10.30pm 

Post 2 (36 hours)

Week 1 – Tuesday to Thursday 3pm to 10.30pm, Saturday 7.30am to 1.30pm and Sunday 7.30am to 3.30pm

Week 2 – Monday 5.45am to 2.15pm, Tuesday 7.15am to 3.15pm, Friday 2pm to 10.30pm, Saturday 1.15pm to 7pm and Sunday 1.30pm to 9.15pm

Week 3 – Monday 2pm to 10.30pm, Wednesday & Thursday 7.15 am to 3.15pm and Friday 5.45am to 2.15pm
