Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Contracts Co-ordinator to look after a range of Statutory contracts and services required by the council across our building stock.
The role will focus on domestic properties and contracts related to Electrical and Gas safety, as well as lifts, fire safety and ventilation systems and may include works on capital projects related to these and other services.
The role will be supported by supervisor staff in operating and administrating these contracts and additionally management of the construction regulation officers would be a responsibility of the post holder.
You will be expected to hold regular contractor meetings, review valuations and costs for work and produce updates on progress against housing targets.
Regular travel across the local authority area will be required for which access to a vehicle would be beneficial. Pervious experience of working in a regulated industry would also be beneficial as the post holder would be expected to hold positions of responsibility on behalf of the council for bodies such as NICEIC, Select and Gas Safe.
