The Role
We are seeking experienced Masters <500GT to join our team on the West Coast. This is a hands-on command role involving the safe
navigation, operation, and management of our harvest vessel to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and fish welfare standards at all times.
• Lead and work effectively with a small crew of 4-5.
• Oversee daily vessel activities including deck operations and crew coordination.
• Maintain accurate vessel logs, records, and operational reports.
• Uphold all relevant maritime regulations, company procedures, and SMS requirements.
Rotation
3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (inclusive of holidays)
Package
Competitive salary, fully compliant with MLC regulations
Requirements
We’re looking for individuals with:
• Experience operating vessels in the aquaculture or fishing industry.
• Strong leadership abilities and commitment to safety and quality.
• A flexible, practical approach and strong teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage operations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master <500GT CoC (or equivalent)
• Valid STCW certifications and ENG1 medical
• Experience in the aquaculture, fishing, or marine services sector is advantageous
• GMDSS ROC or GOC preferred
