School Crossing Patroller (Part-time) (Term Time)
NLC3 £13.79 to £14.33 per hour (please note, this hourly rate will be calculated to a term time rate as you will not be required to work during school holidays but will receive a wage every 4 weeks)

We are recruiting School Crossing Patrollers
Do you want to become a central part of our local community in a term time job offering a fantastic work life balance? North Lanarkshire Council are recruiting permanent part-time Static School Crossing Patrollers to cover vacancies in our local communities.
In this job you will play a vital role in your community ensuring the safety of pedestrians, in particular children, when crossing the road. A protective uniform and full training will be provided to ensure that you know what this key role is about.
You must have excellent road sense and good communication skills. You will be polite, friendly, punctual, self-motivated/reliable, and able to work on your own initiative.
The ability to work in all weather conditions is essential.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Group Scheme (PVG) member prior to starting this post.

Work Pattern - Monday to Friday 8:10am-9:10am and 2:45pm-3:30pm

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
