We are looking for a flexible and hardworking Parish Administrator to work alongside members of our Ministry Team and key Office-bearers . The successful applicant will be based at the Duncansburgh Church, Fort William. The ideal applicant must be comfortable dealing with the public. This post is initially for a 12 month period.
The main duties will be:
- to deal with enquiries from the congregation, hall users and the general public
- to liaise with Funeral Directors and Church personnel to confirm funeral arrangements
- to manage bookings for all Church spaces
- to arrange ongoing maintenance for our Church buildings as directed
- to compile and print Church publications as and when required
- to organise and distribute Church rotas for worship services
- to purchase office and cleaning supplies
- to carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- have excellent communication skills
- have good time management and scheduling skills
- maintain confidentiality
- be able to work well in a team
- be able to use their initiative when lone working.
