We are looking for a flexible and hardworking Parish Administrator to work alongside members of our Ministry Team and key Office-bearers . The successful applicant will be based at the Duncansburgh Church, Fort William. The ideal applicant must be comfortable dealing with the public. This post is initially for a 12 month period.

The main duties will be:

  • to deal with enquiries from the congregation, hall users and the general public
  • to liaise with Funeral Directors and Church personnel to confirm funeral arrangements 
  • to manage bookings for all Church spaces
  • to arrange ongoing maintenance for our Church buildings as directed 
  • to compile and print Church publications as and when required
  • to organise and distribute Church rotas for worship services
  • to purchase office and cleaning supplies
  • to carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • have excellent communication skills
  • have good time management and scheduling skills
  • maintain confidentiality
  • be able to work well in a team
  • be able to use their initiative when lone working.
