JOB TITLE: Integrator- Intermediary Wealth

LOCATION: Edinburgh

SALARY: £59,850 - £66,500

HOURS: Full-time, 35 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at one of our office sites

About the Role

The Intermediary Wealth Lab plays a pivotal role by focusing on the entire advisor platform. These journeys spans from creating wealth to creating retirement benefits.

The focus is on excelling in key markets, the platforms' ambition is to become a top 3 market player in the UK for Advisor platform.
 

What you'll be doing

  • Identify, define, and track delivery dependencies in close collaboration with the Product Owner and Lab team, ensuring alignment with the Lab backlog.
  • Collaborate with partners outside of the Lab to ensure synchronization and deliver Lab dependencies and plans efficiently.
  • Identify blockers to delivery and mitigate or resolve them when possible, advancing to Product Owners or Lab leadership if necessary.
  • Act as the interface between suppliers (3rd party) and key business collaborators.
  • Develop roadmaps or plans for key initiatives and manage their delivery. Address deviations that impact delivery and raise concerns when required.
  • Confidently own progress against the plan and dependencies, and report within the Platform as requested, including Quarterly Business Review.
  • Manage relationships between Platforms, enabling complex and high-risk implementations between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Coordinate the integration process and/or implementation events across shared infrastructure, lead on the SI process, and coordinate parties to ensure changes are successfully implemented.
  • Supply insight (not content) regarding governance activities directed by the Product Owner.

What you'll need

  • Agile Methodology & Tools: Lead complex changes within a business area with experience in agile teams, building excitement around agile ways of working.
  • Provide coaching and advice, sharing your experience on the most appropriate methods and tools required.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Teams, and PowerPoint toolsets (preferable as these skills can be acquired).
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and enhance collaborator relationships to build consensus and improve the delivery of change outcomes. Use your experience to manage conflicting priorities by facilitating discussions and resolutions, and persuading collaborators to consider alternative views.
  • Planning, Tracking, Reporting, and Governance: Provide consistent status updates to your colleagues and manage urgent issues that affect delivery. Draw on your experience to manage significant risks, challenges, and dependencies during Status Reporting and agile meetings, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Influencing: Influence positively by demonstrating the right values and behaviours while encouraging the same within your team members!
