Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, duties will include a wide range of microbiological, biochemical and flesh quality analyses. The work will cover a number of scientific disciplines and the successful candidate will be required to be flexible and able to adapt easily to changeable routines.
Previous laboratory experience and a biology/chemistry science qualification would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Attention to detail and good organisational skills are essential. Applicants must also possess a high degree of computer literacy.
Hours of work are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, and weekends on a rotational basis.
