As the threat landscape continues to evolve we want to ensure all our 30m customers can conduct their business in a safe and secure environment. We are continuing to invest in our Cyber Security & Risk programmes and as a result we are looking to recruit an experienced cyber threat intelligence professional to provide insight into its analysis of cyber threats and the implications for the Group.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed technical understanding of the cyber threats facing the finance sector and be adept at translating analysis into actionable intelligence that will help the Group remain resilient to growing range and complexity of cyber threats.

As the and implement the Group’s strategic intelligence approach to active cyber defence to respond to attacks against the business. Work across the Group developing our threat intelligence analysis capability (a threat intelligence platform), exploiting data effectively, joining the dots, to enable predictive cyber threat analysis which will involve close working with colleagues in IT Security and Digital.

You will also ensure the Group’s internal intelligence assessments are technically accurate, relevant, and deliver real insight to both a technical and non-technical audience while helping to grow the technical cyber skills and knowledge of the Group’s intelligence team.

As you will have active role in the senior leadership of the Group Security Intelligence Team it’s essential you possess a demonstrable track record in strategy development and implementation, an understanding of intelligence and its value to risk reduction, cyber analysis, and up to date technical knowledge of the range of cyber related threats to the financial sector, including the threats posed by insiders. You will need to be able to communicate succinctly in an engaging fashion and make complex information accessible to a broad and senior-level audience.

You’ll need practical experience in intelligence, cyber security, and the financial sector and the ability to leverage a wide network of contacts across industry, Government and law enforcement. Professional qualifications or a degree in a relevant subject and/or cyber or information security qualifications will also be essential along with practical experience and developed understanding of intelligence best practices, including the uses and limitations of intelligence.
