An exciting career development opportunity has arisen for a full time Senior Staff Nurse within the challenging environment of NHS prison health care within HMP & YOI Grampian. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and motivated individual to join our mental health team with a passion for nursing patients.

The successful candidate should be able to evidence management skills, clinical competencies and ongoing professional development and must have worked within an acute mental health. You will be expected to undertake a clinical caseload, working in a proactive and professional manner at all times.

You will work within a large multi-disciplinary team in a Community Facing Prison, offering the same health care services and opportunities to our patients in custody that are available to the general public.

Successful candidates will be motivated individuals with excellent communication and team working skills, ready to provide a high standard of health care.

This post will initially be 0615-1415hrs, Monday – Friday. Once the successful candidate has completed their induction there will be a potential for the post hours to be 0900-1700hrs, Monday-Friday.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates .
