An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aquaculture or Biology graduate to join our busy team as Assistant Biologist. The role, based in the beautiful and rugged landscape of the Western Isles, aims to support the business in all aspects of aquaculture, from understanding and assisting growth in both freshwater hatcheries and marine farms to interacting with local and industry stakeholders.

This varied role involves planning and monitoring field trials, auditing freshwater and marine sites and providing support to our site-based teams throughout the production cycle to ensure the highest standards of fish health and welfare are maintained. The control and maintenance of fish health reports is also a primary element and therefore attention to detail and good organisational skills are a must.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree-level, with an aquatic specialism preferred. A full driving licence is also essential, along with a flexible and independent approach. Competitive Salary.
