An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ultrasonographer to join our Radiography team here in Orkney. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and motivated with the ability to undertake a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general, gynae, obstetric and Doppler studies. There is a commitment to support general radiography at times, including the on-call rota of 1 in 6. With no Consultant Radiologist on site the postholder will be expected to work closely with clinicians and other teams in the health board to provide an excellent imaging service within the patient care pathways. Continued professional development and education support is available and actively encouraged.
