Job Description

The Customer Services Officer will be part of the Customer Service Team responsible for providing a high quality customer service on behalf of the Comhairle. The postholder will be expected to cover all aspects of Customer Service work, carrying out procedures for the effective and efficient handling of customer contacts, including the registration of births, deaths and marriages.

Requirements

You should have experience of dealing with customers in a polite, friendly and positive manner as well as knowledge of effective customer care. It is essential that you have Standard Grade English and Mathematics (or equivalent) and the ability to speak / understand Gaelic is desirable.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.  Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
